The government has reported that the "Kyushu Recovery Support Discount," aimed at stimulating tourism demand and supporting disaster-stricken areas, is expected to be implemented for stays starting October 1, 2026.
In Oita Prefecture, a subsidy of up to 50% of travel and accommodation costs is planned, and this is expected to be a highly attractive program for customers considering a trip to Kyushu in the fall.
Details regarding discount rates, eligible areas, and reservation start dates will be announced once official announcements are made by the national government and Oita Prefecture.

・Target: Travel and accommodation products of one night or more in the Kyushu region
- Start date: For stays from October 1, 2026 onwards
Discount rate in Oita Prefecture: 50% off travel and accommodation fees
• Maximum discount for accommodation-only packages: 20,000 yen per person

While the national government has published an outline of the program, details regarding the start date for reservations in Oita Prefecture, the eligible accommodation period, eligible facilities, reservation methods, and applicable conditions have not yet been announced.
Therefore, at this time, our museum is unable to accept reservations or provide individual information regarding the application of the "Kyushu Recovery Support Discount."
Furthermore, it is currently undecided whether existing reservations will be eligible for the discount.
For customers who have already made reservations, we recommend that you wait until the details of the "Kyushu Recovery Support Discount" program are announced before making any changes or rebookings for the purpose of applying the discount.
